'Come All Ye' is a folk music radio program broadcast on 2MCE-FM each Sunday from 12 to 2pm, heard across the central west of NSW, Australia, from the cities of Bathurst (92.3 Mhz) and Orange (94.7 Mhz).  The program is streamed and later becomes available as a podcast.  Bruce Cameron has hosted 'Come All Ye' since 1976, making it the longest running folk / acoustic / roots program on Australian radio still with its original presenter.

The featured album was  CABIN FEVER - SONGS FROM THE QUARANTINE  by  JOHN MCCUTCHEON  www.folkmusic.com   (Appalsongs)  The prolific recording artist went into COVID-19 self-quarantine early in 2020 and emerged three weeks later with an album of mostly new material.  Among other topics, he pays tribute to front line health workers, reflects on life in this strange new environment and, inevitably, questions the long term effects on our planet of our actions.  This is a very personal album from a gifted songwriter who is offering some profound insights along the way.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:

The featured album was  LANDMARKS ON THE JOURNEY  by  MARGARET & BOB FAGAN  www.thefagans.com.au   Two very well known performers on the Australian folk scene, and the parents of two fine musicians in James and Kate, who also contribute to the album.  This was a 2019 release, the year which marked 50 years of their "musical journey together".  The 'senior' Fagans have compiled a solid collection of songs, reflecting their shared concern for the environment, political activism, Irish heritage and their home, Australia.  This is a well produced work, with plenty of varied material well worth close attention.  The following tracks (all * Australian content) were scattered through the program:

The featured album was  BANKERS BLUES: A STUDY IN THE EFFECTS OF FISCAL MISCHIEF (VOL 1)  www.document-records.com  This is a compilation of old blues tracks loosely connected by the common theme of money.  Taxes, corporate greed and insurance all come in for serious attention.  Some artists are much better known than others.  Document Records, now based in Scotland, has the ambitious goal of preserving and re-releasing the complete recorded works of the majority of Afro American artists made on cylinder and 78rpm records from the 1890s to the mid-20th century; primarily blues, gospel, jazz, sermons and spirituals.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:

The featured album was  JOURNEY : THE BEST OF DONAL LUNNY  (Hummingbird)  www.donallunny.com   A double CD of tracks recorded by the master Irish musician, composer and producer who has been a major contributor to the Irish music scene for more than four decades and a member of several highly influential bands.  This was released in 2000, so there is plenty more recent material to include in a "Volume 2", should the temptation ever arise.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:

The featured album was  KATIE KIRK & RICK WILLIAMS  by  KATIE KIRK & RICK WILLIAMS  www.katiekirkandrickwilliams.co.uk  The duo, who live on opposite sides of Mounts Bay, near Penzance, have developed their ballad repertoire over the past six years.  They have a well-deserved high profile on the Cornish folk scene and this is their first release.  Strong Cornish links are evident in several poems by Charles Causley set to music by Williams.  There are also settings of poems by C. Fox Smith and some traditional ballads.  Kirk's excellent unembellished vocals let the words carry the songs forward, while Williams' sensitive and stylish guitar provides the right support.  This is a delightful album.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:

The featured album was  AN DEN DEY MADE TAE  by  ROSS & RYAN COUPER  (Couper Records).  The COVID global pandemic provided the fiddler and guitarist brothers from Shetland the time to finally produce an instrumental album, after years of talking about recording together.  Most sets are played in an identifiably Shetland style, even those tunes not originating in Shetland, and there is also good proportion of excellent original material.  All tracks have a confident "live" energy, making this a very enjoyable album.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:
