'Come All Ye' is a folk music radio program broadcast on
2MCE-FM each Sunday from 12 to 2pm, heard across the central west of NSW, Australia, in the cities of Bathurst (92.3 Mhz) and Orange (94.7 Mhz). Bruce Cameron has hosted 'Come All Ye' since 1976, making it the longest running folk / acoustic / roots program on Australian radio still with its original presenter.

The featured album was AT THIS STAGE by ERIC BOGLE (Rouseabout Records)  This is a double CD of concert recordings, which includes Bogle's introductions to the songs.  The album is described as "first issued in 2005", although some material was recorded in the mid 1980's.  It's always interesting to have Bogle's on-stage banter supporting the songs, so this is still a collection worth hearing. The featured album was SIT DOWN & SING by ROY BAILEY WITH MARTIN SIMPSON & JOHN KIRKPATRICK  (Fuse Records)  A surprise return to recording for a highly respected English 'elder statesman' of folk music, with another fine album of mostly contemporary ballads of social comment.  Strong messages throughout, delivered in Bailey's characteristic mellow and measured vocal style.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:

The featured album was STRANGE HISTORIES by JAMES RAYNARD (Unearthed / One Little Indian)  Debut album by a young English singer instrumentalist, drawing his material from as far back as the 17th century.  Both the vocals and accompaniment are impressive, showing the obvious (and acknowledged) influence of Martin Carthy.  A very good first album.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:
